According to the research from Holiday Cottages, the appetite for a rural UK holiday has increased dramatically, with a 43% rise on 2019 in the number of survey participants keen to holiday in the South West in 2021.

From the research, it seems that holiday planners are hoping to visit more rural, scenic locations for their staycation next year, with Edinburgh the only city featured in the top ten list of desired locations.
